FARM HAND ADMITS GUILT.

COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE. STRATFOED, March 13. A suspicious fire in the Toko Hotel on Saturday had a sequel in the Police Court to-day, when Douglas Fraser, a farm hand, was charged with arson. The accused admitted the offence, saying that he set fire to the lavatory to get one back on the licensee, who refused him any more drink, i He made a Statement to the police to that effect and pleaded guilty. Ho was committed for sentence at the Wellington Supreme Court.—(P.A.)
