MASTERTON SHOW.
EXCELLENT' ENTRIES RECEIVED. Entries for all classes, except fruit and vegetables, at the Masterton A. and P. Association’s Show, to bo held at the Solway Showgrounds on Tuesday and Wednesday next, definitely closed last night. The total received represents an increase of 362 over last year’s total. Fruit and vegetable entries will be received up to Saturday night. Following are the entries in the various classes:—Horses 303, competitions 291, cattle 227, sheep 547, dogs 485, pigs 66, home industries and sewing 426, poultry and pigeons 133: total, 2478. With the exception of the years 1929-1930, this total exceeds that recorded at any Show held by the association since 1914.
