SHEARERS AND SHED HANDS.
AGREEMENT CONVERTED INTO AWARD. TO OPERATE TILL MARCH, 1936. . AUCKLAND, August 25. Industrial agreements reached in Conciliation Council between the sheepowners and shearers and shed hands in the Northern, Wellington, Marlborough, Canterbury and Otago and Southland industrial districts were converted into awards by the ArbitraDon Court to-day. The new awards will eome into force on September 1 and will remain in operation until March 31, 1936.—(P.A.)
