HARVEST FESTIVAL.
METHODIST CHURCH SERVICES.
Harvest Thanksgiving services were held at the Masterton Methodist Church on Sunday, when the Rev. H. White preached in the morning and the Rev. E; O. Blamires in the evening, to large congregations. The decorative work by which fruit, vegetables, flowers and corn were displayed was very effectively carried out by the committee and with the help of the ladies, giving to the chiireh a most p-leasing aippearance. The children’s choir in the morning and the church choir in the evening gave harmonious renderings of the special music and led the congregations in the harvest hymns. Mr. Henry J. Jones sang a solo during the course of the evening service. °
