MOTOR BOAT MISSING.
ON COAST OF BRITISH COLUMBIA. TWENTY-ONE PERSONS ABOARD. (Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m.) BELLACOOLA (British. Columbia), December 17. Twenty-one persons are missing with the motor boat Jaqdji, last seen on Wednesday attempting to make its way through the ice on a return trip from Bella Bella seventy-five miles distant from this point. The boat had taken a party of Indians to Bella-Bella for a basketball game. A search is being made, but it is hampered by ice conditions. i PARTY ASSISTED DISCOVERED BY STEAMER. (Received Sunday, 11.45 p.m.) VANCOUVER, December 18. The twenty-one white men and Indians missing since Wednesday on the motor boat Jandj, were discovered by the steamship Venture, and given food and supplies, late on Saturday.
