WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATE.’; OQMPEHTiONS. GA WITH SHIELD AND OTHER CONTESTS. GOOD PLAY IN BEAUTIFUL WEATHER. Memorial derisively defeated Maeterton, last year's Gawith Shield wimoen. In the opening matebee of the Wairarapa Lawn Tennis Association’s in ter-club competition, which were played on Saturday in glonous weather. The superior play of tho male members of their team carried Carterton to victory over Maeterton Park in the other Gawith Shield match.
