PERSONAL.
The death occurred at Featherston on Tuesday of Mr. Ernest Wilton Craig, at the age of 63 years. The late Mr. Craig had been in failing health for some time past. Mr. Temple White, of Wellington, will visit Masterton next Monday to conduct a practice of the massed choir now preparing for “Music. Week?’ The friends of Mrs J. E. Jenkins, Renal! Street, Masterton, will regret to learn of the death of her father, Mr. P. McAtcer, which occurred at Palmerston North yesterday. The late Mr. McAteer, who was 76 years of ago, was an old resident of Tima.ru. Mr. R. A. Falla, lecturer in nature study at the Auckland Training College and formerly of Masterton, has been appointed a member of Mawson’s Antarctic Expedition. He went south with the same expedition last year.—(P.A.)
