HOSPITAL WIRELESS.
MORE MONEY STILL NEEDED. It has been ascertained, the Rev. E. M. McLevie, chairman of the Hospital Wireless Committee, ’stated last evening, th:: the wireless equipment for the Masterton Hospital is going to cost rather more than was expected. It was thought that practically the whole of the funds required were in hand, but a further amount will still be needed. Definite figures will be made public after the meeting of the Hospital Wireless Committee which is to bo held next Wednesday. A meeting was to have been held yesterday to discuss the position, but it had to be postponed on account of some members being out of town and others being unable to attend. DISTINCTIONS CONFERRED.
