HIGH SCHOOL CONCERT.
TONIGHT AND TO-MORROW NIGHT. 4’ To-night and to-morrow night in the Opera House, the Wairarapa High School will present its eighth annual concert. Indications are that the standard of the entertainment will be on the same high level as in previous years, in the first half, there will be a variety of items, both solo and group, including singing, gymnastics, dancing and orchestral work. A sketch giving a modernised version of the Battle of Hastings will also be in this half. A farce in one act by Arnold Bennett will occupy the whole of the second half of the programme. All the players in this farce have appeared in previous High School concerts, so that those who enjoyed the plays of last year’s concert will be assured of’a good performance. The proceeds are in aid • of the gymnasium fund.
