LADIES’ HOCKEY.
WAIRARAPA REP. TEAM. SATURDAY’S MATCH. On Saturday next on the High School ground a combined team from Old Girls aid High School will play the Wairarapa lady representatives. This will be the last game the representatives will play before leaving for lhe tournament at Gisborne. The teams will be as follows: Combined: Misses O. Johnson M. Bassett, J. McLeod, E. Johnson, J. Wallis, O. Oook, C. lorns, Mrs Tc Tau, D. McGrath, R. Brown, E. Finlayson. Reserves: B. Merry, J. Rose. Rep. Team:—Mrs Playle, Misses A. Booth, G. Cook, M. Farfeita, D. Playle, Langley, B. Jackson, I. Booth, D. Henderson, F. Booth, G. Jackson. The game will commence at 1.45 pirn, and players’ are requested to be on The Greytown v. High School A junior game, which is to take place on the High School ground on Saturday at 3 o’clock, will practically decide the winner of the junior grade competition. A keen game is anticipated. MBN’S GAMES. BANNIN SHIELD DRAW. Following is the draw for the first round of the Barnin Shield games to be played on Saturday:—Carterton v. Mauriceville, at Carterton; Y.M.C.A. A y. Dalefield B, wt Masterton; Y.M.C.A. B v. Greytown, at Greytown.
