PRICE OF GAS.
INSTITUTION OF FLAT RATE ALTERATION ON APRIL 1 The reduction in the price of gas which comes into force in Masterton on April 1 brings the rate for consumers who have no cookers into line with the rate for those who have. At present consumers with cookers arc on the lowest rate-. The reduction will therefore apply to consumers who us® gas onlv for lighting and heating, or for lighting or heating. The decision to make 'the alteration was reached by the Borough Council some'months ago, to come into effect on April 1.
