WELLINGTON CLUB’S SECOND DAY. RAPIER WINS GOLD CUP. CEREMONY SCORES. WELLINGTON, March 18. The second, day of the Wellington races was held in dull but fine, warm weather. The attendance was good. Early morning showers made the going ideal. The totalisator handled £48,881, an increase of £6097 10s., as compared with the off day last year.
