PREMIER AND GENEVA LABOUR CONFERENCE. WESTPORT, March 18. On Saturday the Prime Minister, Sir : Joseph Ward, telegraphed to Mr Hol- ■ land, Leader of the Labour Party, to ■ the effect that he personally was favourable to New Zealand being represented at the International Labour Conference under the auspices of the League of Nations, and which meets at Geneva in May. Sir Joseph Ward added that he could not give full eon- : sideration to the matter until his return from Invercargill, but he would try to arrange for representation to go >1 forward this year. The constitution .of such representation would be decided later.—(P.A.)
