SLIGHTLY BETTER PRICES • FEILDING, March 15. There was a heavy yarding of store ; sheep at the stock sale to-day. The dej mand for breeding ewes was well maintained. Prices were slightly better i than last week. Fat sheep isold at late rates. Fat lambs, 17s 9d to 24s 4d; fat ewes, 23s tot 265; two-tooth bjf. 25s 6d; fat wethers, 25s 8d to 275; four-tGOths. 31s 4d. Stores: Two-tooth ewes, 30s 3d; four-year ewes, 26s Id; four and five-year ewes, 22s 3d to 30s 6d, Cattle were in small numbers. The demand was good for dairy stock.
