SEDGLEY HOME.

THE MONTHLY REPORT. The report of the Master and Matron of the Sedgley Boys’ Home for Febru-ary-March states, inter alia:— We now have 13 boys in the Home, and all are well. Walter ©ishop left the Home on February 15 for Wellington. On Saturday the boys were entertained at a picnic by the Rotary Club, which they thoroughly enjoyed. The Rev. Fielden Taylor visited the Home during the month. • The following gifts were received with grateful thanks:—Twenty jars • marmalade, Mrs. Glacken; fruit and sugar, Anon; fAiit, Mrs. Cave, Mr. Buckton; cakes, Mesdames Aikman, Armitage, Denbee, PenistonO and St. Mark’s (Carterton); cakes and sandwiches, St. Andrew’s (Martinborough), ' St. Mark’s (Carter!on), Rotary Club; jam, Miss Maunsell; vegetables and cakes, St. Matthew’s Garden Fete; 25 oatmeal, Mr. G. F. Knapp; fish, Al Mart; three cases apples, Mr. R. • W. Matthews; sausages and saveloys, Mr. F. Picott; mixing bowl, Anon.; material for bed covers (2), Anon. The following money was received by the secretary:—Maintenance, per executive, £49; Trust Lands Trust, £5; annual subscriptions 1 , 1928/9, Mrs. J. Welchs ss, S. W. Smith £1 Is., F. H.
