CANTERBURY J. C. MEETING OPENED. STEEPLECHASE TO WILTSHIRE. BISOX WINS CUP. CHRISTCHURCH, August 14. The Canterbury Jockey Club’s Grand National meeting opened today. The weather was overcast and the track in good order. The totalisator investments totalled £61,094 10s., as compared with £62,302 10s. on the first day List year.
