CHEESE PRODUCTION.
FIRING A CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY COMPANY ANNUAL REPORT (“The Age” Special.) The directors of the Pirinoa Co-op-erative Dairy Company, in the sixth amnual report, state that the season Is output of cheese was sold in two lots—the first lot being sold through Messrs Clements and Son’s and’ the second lot sold to Messrs J. B. McEwan and Co. The supply to the factory was: Milk for cheese, 396,998 gallons; separated, 3471 gallons; butterfat for cheese, 145.7121b5; separated, 13231b5. At date of balance there has been advanced on butterfat Is 5d per pound, plus Jd credited for share capital account, thus leaving a balance in profit and loss account of £339 4s 3d, which will bring the pay-out to fully Is 6.30 d in addition to interest on capital, which equals •37d; total, Is 6d.67d. It will be necessary to elect two directors, those retiring by rotation being Mr. A. T. Spicer and .E. C. Latham, who are eligible for re-election. Mr. L. H. Smart retiree from the position l of auditor and is eligible for re-election.
