The final of the Dannevirke Golf Club’s Southern Hawke’s Bay championship, played this afternoon in glorious weather between Kapi Tareha (Napier) and H. A. Black (Wellington) was won by the former, who never gave his opponent a look-in, winning by 9 up and 8, the last hole being halved. The final of the Dannovirke Handicap between A. S. MacGregor (Masterton) and W. G. Martin (Martinborough), was won, by the former, 1 up.—(P.A.)
