A PRUSSIAN COMPROMISE.
MILLIONS FOR EX-ROYALTIES. (Received Thursday, 5.5 p.m.) BERLIN, October 6. It is reliably reported that the new agreement for the compensation of former Prussian Royalties provides a cash payment of fifteen million gold marks on behalf of tho royalties’ land and forests property instead of thirty millions as originally proposed. The Hohenzollerns will in addition receive 180,000 acres of land instead of ,267,000. In consequence of tho reduction two additional royal castles revert to the State. It is confidently anticipated that, the Diet will accept the compromise.—(A. and N.Z.)
