DOMINION CONGRESS ENDED. CRAKANTHOBPE THE WINNER. DUNEDIN, Jan. 6.—The Chess Oon grees concluded to-day, with the foliowing results:—■ Round 3. —Barnes v. Stenhouse. This unfinished game went to 100 moves and Stenhuuse resigned. Anderson v. Crakanthorpe (French defence). —Crakanthorpe, needing only a draw, played with extra caution and obtained his end. Erskine v. Moir. —This unfinished game developed into a complicated game and was won by Moir. Pihl v. Barnes.—Barnes, with his material advantage, eventually won the final. The position of the players is:— Crakanthorse 6, Barnes 5), Dunlop S Moir 4, Stenhousc 3, Erskine I|, Pihl Ij, Anderson IJ. Consolation Section. In the finals, Davies defeated Ihirdy, Miller defeated Hicks and Keeling defeated Fairburn. The unfinished game, Miller v.
