AUTHORITIES’ REFUSAL. TO SURRENDER ACCESSORY. (Received 8 p.m.) BERLIN, July 28, —Before his departing for London, William Clarke gave evidence on oath before a Ger,man notary in connection with the forthcoming trial. of Christian Roth, charged as an accessory to the murder of Cyril Cromar, the New Zealander murdered by Swaboda. Roth, it is alleged, urged Swaboda to shoot. The German authorities refuse to surrender Roth.—(A. and N.Z.)
