- COSY THEATRE. Quite an attractive lot of big. attractions are announced for this popular Theatre during the holiday season. A special suitable programme has been arranged for Christmas night, and on Boxing day a special matinee will be given ,of the big feature ‘ ‘ Vanity Fair;” On Boxing Night another special picture, starring Richard Barllhelniess in “Twenty Ono” and on Saturday afternoon another big monster matinee will be given. Seats may be reserved for any afternoon or evening by ringing 1288. OPERA HOUSE. VANITY FAIR TONIGHT. Quite a special Christmas treat is promised picture patrons at the Opera House this week commencing to-night. An entirely new screen version of Thackeray's masterpiece of nineteenth century fiction, “Vanity Fair.” Mrs. Fiske made a screen adaptation of the Langdon Mitchell pity, “Becky Sharp,” some years ago, but Mr. Ballin’s production follows the novel closely “Vanity Fair” is one of the year’s biggest productions, and boasts a cast of many prominent players. Mabel Ballin, wife of the producer, is starred in the role of Becky Sharp. Hobart Bosworth is the Marquis of .Steyne; Harrison. Fdrd is cast as George Osborne; George Walsh as Rawdon Crawley; Robert Mack as Sir Pitt Crawley-; Willard Louis as Joseph Sedley; Eleanor Boardman as Amelia Sedley and Earl Foxe as Captain William Dobbin. The concluding screening takes place at the Cosy Theatre to-night of the super Master feature “A Bill of Divorcement,” the famous motion picture adaptation of the celebrated stage play of the same name, which for powerful thrilling drama, absorbing intrigue, and breath-taking emotion, is unsurpassed. An internationally famed cast of players interpret the principal roles, chief among whom are Constance Binney, Fay Compton, Malcolm Keen, and a number of other screen celebrities.
