BROKERS’ REPORTS.
Murray, Roberts and Co,, Ltd., Dee. 12: —Sales have closed firm. Crossbred greasy medium and coarse declined 5 per cent. All other descriptions market shows no change. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., Dec. 12:—The sales closed firmly. As compared with last sales closing rates prices are higher about 74 to 10 per cent for xbd lambs, fine scoured and fine greasy xbd and fine xbd slipe; higher about 10 to 15 per cent for medium and coarse scoured xbd and medium and coarse xbd slipe; higher about par to 5 per cent for medium merino, greasy merino super, and scoured merino super-; higher about 20 per cent for medium greasy xbd; higher about 5 per eent for lambs merino; higher about 25 per cent for coarse greasy xbd, and lower about par to 5 per eent for inferior iperino. Prices realised for average to super grades of descriptions as below' were: —Merino super 36d to 41d, do. av. 28d to 33d, xbd 56/58 33d to 41d, 50/56 30d to 36d, 48/50 27d to 33d, 46/48 26d to 30d, 44/46 24d to 2.74 d, 40/44 23d to 26d, 36/40 22d to 25d.
