BOOTH CUP MATCH. (By "Wrong Bias.") Tlio second round of the Booih Cup matches commenced yesterday, when the A and B teams of the Masterton Club tried conclusions, the latter winning by two points after an exciting finish. 'flic points scored were as follows (A players being mentioned first): — 11. T. "Wood, 'Hurtle, Hendry, Chapman ('a.'). 17; Kibblewhite, A. Chamberlain, Mutrie, Hughes (*.), 21. Cnindy, Tennant, R. V.ilo, Cresswell (s.)", 22; TC. Chamberlain, Turner, Jenkins, Thompson (s.), 20. Dagg, Wingate, Clendenmng, Dickens (s.), 24; Feist, If: yno, W. R. Jones, Guild (s.), 21. On Wednesday last a I 1 eliding rink defeated Pahnerston by one point for the Dixon Cup. Pragnell defeated Thurston in the championship singles on the Masterton Clubs green yesterday afternoon. * A rink from the Park Club, consisting of Finlayson, Henry, Carr, Southgate (s.), were defeated at Carterton yesterday by bo holders of the Champion Fours by a comfortable margin.
