RUSSIA AND PEACE.
M Trotsky, the, leader of the Bolsheviks, aci-nsea the Entente of silently supporting Germany at Brest Litovsk, because they would not join in the peace negotiations. The Bolsheviks waait a 'peace based upon tho overthrow of every monarchy and the nationalization of everything. The Entente is not fighting to achieve any such purpose. !t is fighting merely for the protection of the weak nations against the strong, and for the maintenance of Interna.tioa.l Law. The Bolsheviks thought, when they grabbed the reins of power in Russia, that they were going to dominate the world. Like the Kaiser, however, they have been grievously disappointed.
