MASTERTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
ORDINARY MEETING. The ordinary meeting of the Masterton Borough Council was held last overling, there being present the Mayor and Crs. H. O'Loary, W. Kemp, F. W. Temple, E. Flanagan, W. Candy, J. Kitchener, A. Chapman and P. Cotter. The minutes of tho previous 'neoting were read and confirmed. Reports of the various committee meetings were read and confirmed. The Building Committee was uthorised to expend up to £SO in tho erection of a small pavilion and tool house at tho Park. ~C7n the motion of the Mayor it was decided to support tho protest of tho New Zealand Catholic Federation as to tho censoring of moving pictures, and tho Mayor was appointed a delegate to a proposed conference in reference to the matter. A letter was read from the County Council tro the proposed stock bridge on Colombo road, and asking that a draft agreement be signed.— The matter was left in the hands of the Mayor.
