WAR MAY BE DECLARED AT ANY MOMENT.
A WARNING FROM GREAT BRITAIN
(Received Last Night, 5.25 o'clock.) LONDON, Sept. 1. The "Daily Telegraph" 'says that Turkey may declare war at any moment. It is only a matter of a few days possibly ot hours. All efforts of tho Triple Entente to maintain Turkey s neutrality have failed. The British Embassy at Constantinople admits that the situation is "rave The military party, which is dominant iai Constantinople, has reached the conclusion that the pre-sent is the best time to secure a restoration of Macedonia and the Aegean Islands. Turkey, counts on the Balkan States quarrelling amongst themselves, while Turkey fights Greece. . , Turkey's declaration of war against Greece will be regarded as hostile by tho Entente, which will send a fleet to dispose of the Turkish and Gel Tccording to the "Telegraph," the British Government has warned ■Turkey plainly that by starting the campaign this time she signs her own death warrant.
