GERMAN TRADE.
Whatever else may be the outcome of the war in Europe, it is certain that tho export trade 1 of Germany will be paralysed for many years to come. The ambitious Kaiser, filled with a lust for world-domination, may appease his appetite in the sweltering blood of his own millions of militaryridden serfs; lie may smack his lips in satisfaction at the sacrifice of the magnificent cities of a peace-loving nation like Belgium ; he may raise Ins voice in prayers of thankfulness to I Heaven as his pack of bloodthirsty ariff ravenous wolves desecrate churches, massacre innocent women and children, and shoot down priests of God. But, so sure as there is a God of JuStfce, so sure will the brutal crime's that have been, and are being perpetrated by the vicious Germans, he expiated in their fullness. The mills of God may grind slowly but they grind exceedingly small. With the shut-tiny of tho doors of commerce against her, Germany will be left tho verisimilitude of an eagle with its wings clipped, its claws shaven, and its beak broken to a pulp.
