SALARIES
(By. Telegraph—Prm Association.) AKAROA, Last Night. -The Hon. James Allen, Minister of Education, in opening a neAV school at vAkaroa thia afternoon, said ho Intended next, session to give further consideration to the salaries paid' to school teachers. He hoped to imako things better for them, not only in tho primary schools, but also in the i secondary, for, in his opinion, teachers in the latter schools AVtre very much underpaid, and ho Jxoped to make their position more comfortable in the future.
