WAITAHUNA FARMERS' CLUB.
(Own Corraspondeut.) The mouthly meeting of C '.aitnlninoi Farmers' Club was h 'id on Monday, July 2i)th, when there were present Messrs T. t'orrv -Pr. '.leiitl, A. MoCorkdndale (V.-P.i. Cowen, Hide, W. J. Livingston, A. l.tv'mgstcn, R. McCorkindalc, A. McMillan, It. Met'aw, and R. Murray. Amongst the correspondence received were letters from the Minister o! Railways (through Hon. James Allenf) stating that tho Club's application for a vorandah at the Railwav Station had 'been .considered, but that the request' could not be gran tod at the present, time j also, that the request for a telegraph and lotl. v delivery- had received due consideration, but that it had been found that the vf-'luiiTjo of correspondence was not sufficient to warrant the ir.rward movement.
The Show programme wis gone through and ' a considerable amount of lime spout upon it, but with the exception of a few minor alterations it was left us in tho-' past year. The President called attention to the fact that next inoeling would be the annual meeting. and he -hoped that there would be a good gathering and that all accounts would bo paid. Messrs IA. M. McMillan and VY. J. Livingston were appointed to audit tho treasurer's 'books.
