Wheat.- The market since last report* ing is unchanged. Prices in this market will doubtless for a time continue low in sympathy with those ruling at llome, and there are no indications meantime apparent of any improvement within measurable distance. Quotations for best milling velvet and Tuscan, 2a 7J to 2a 9J — extra prime, a shade more ; medium to good, 2s 3d to 2a 6d ; inferior and good whole fowls' wheat, 23 to 2s 3d ; broken, Is 6d to Is lOd (ex store, sacks weighed in, teims). Oats. — There is no apparent change to note in the tone of (he market this week when compared with that of last week. Quotations for prime milling, Is lid to It lUd ; best short feed, stout and bright, lslOd to Is lid ; medium to good, la 81 to Is 9d ; inferior, Is 6i to Is 7|d (ex store, sacks ex'ra, net).

Barley. — There are a good many samples of the new crop fl-ating about, with the view of getting offers from buyers ; but there seems to be too wide a difference in buyers' aid sellers' idea of value, wh'oh at tha moment prevents sales of any consequence being effected. Grais Seed.— The demand for ryegrass Reed, though not increasing, continues •tetdy. Best dressed perennial is worth 3i to S» l^d —extra prime a share more ; farmers' best, 2i 6d to 2s Od ; inferior to medium) Ii 94 to 2s nd (ci stoic, sacks extra, riet). Cocksfoot is at ill mgleoted. Best dresied (nbmiual), 3^d to 3|d } me> dium, 2d to 3d per lb. Potatoes.— l'na supply to hand lately has been barely sufficient for requirements prices obtaining in consequence have been more satisfactory. Best have been sell* in<s at the beginning of the week at £4 to £4 l(h ; others, £& 10* to £3 17 a6l per ton (ex store, sacks weighed in, net). Chaft —Supplies ample, with only a very moderate demand. Best is fetching 50* to 55s— extra good a shade more; medium to good, 40a to 47s 6d per ton (ex t uck). „ Dairy Produce. — Prime salt butter, dairy-made, 7d to 8d ; factory held for 101 to lid per lb.

Flax.— A fair demand is experienced in the local marker, best fetching £18 to £19 ; medium to good, £16 to £17 103 j inferior, £13 to £15 103 per ton.
