DUNEDIN WOOL SALE.

Mr L. Maclban (on behalf of the British and New Zealand Mortgage and Agency Company) reports as follows: — We held our third sale of the Beason at our wool stores, Princes-street South,on Thursday, 28th inst. Thera was a full attendance of local and foreign buyers and others interested. Our catalogue comprised 364 bales, of which we sold 297 under the hammer. Competition was scarcely so brisk as at the previous sales held this season, doubtless owing to the reported decline in the values at Horne — a noticeable reduction in prices taking place in inferior merino and heavy discolored and earthy crossbred. Mr D. B. Tolmie's (Clinton) clip of 53 bales greasy merinos brought top price — viz., 9d per lb.
