The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company have received the following wool telegram from their London office, dated 26th inst.:— t'New South Wales and Queensland short-staple merino, light in grease, are neglected ; greasy has declined Id i per lb, and faulty scoured Id per )b, since close of last sales ; crossbred market firmer ; other descriptions unchanged. demand for long-staple merino, light in grease, is good. The Home demand is good, but the French demand is poor. The total • quantity catalogued to date is 54,000 bales,, and the total quantity withdrawn is 6,600 bfcle«i" : kj*.
