MOTORIST KILLED.
Car Ran Over Bank and Capsized. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, February 18. A motor-car containing two men, Frank Philpott, aged twenty-two J’ears, and William James Stevenson, aged nineteen years, was travelling down Happy Valley Road, towards Ohiro Bay, when it ran over a bank and came to rest upside down against a concrete wall. Both men were taken to hospital, but Philpott was dead on arrival. Stevenson is suffering from a fracture of both thighs and shock. His condition is serious.
