Sydenham Club’s 100 Yards Championship. A farther series of club races were neici at the Sydenham swimming: baths last evening:. The outstanding- performth? swimming of L. Newell in the 100yds championship, when, he established a new club record of 61sec. The following were the results:— Junior Girls, 33 l-3yds—Berry 1, Teague 2, Lloyd 3. Junior Boys, 25yds—Lloyd 1, Teague 2, Berry 3. Junior Boys, 33 l-3yds Handicap—heat: A. Smith 1, A. Shaw 2, N. White 3. Second heat: R. Jones 1, NT. Davey 2. Final: A. Smith and A. Shaw (dead-heat) 1, N\ Davev 3. Intermediate Girls, 50yds—E. Agar 1, H, Norton 2. _ T ”tf rni ediate Boys, 50yds—1st heat: L R - bloyd 2. Second heat: Williams 1, G. Cairns 2. Final: C. Williams, l. s. White 2, G. Cairns 3 Kennett Cup. 80yds—D. Lester 1 C. Agar 2, E. Agar 3. Jones Cup. 50yds—First heat: Sullivan 1, D. Sams 2. Second heat; R. Williams 1, L. Newell 2. Final: R. Williams 1. D. Sams 2. S *’lfvan 3. Water Polo—Sydenham R defeated the A team by four goals to one. 100yds Championship—L. Newell 1, R. i Norton 2. Time—6l sec, a club record.
