West Christchurch Old Boys’ Association. Mr C. D. Sheppard presided over the feting of the West Christchureh Old Boys’ Association, Incorporated, held in the Y.M.C.A. last night? Commenting on the annual report, Mr Sheppard said that though the membership had increased, the increase was not encouraging, especially in view of W®. t i iat the constitution of the club had been altered to allow any pupil who had attended the West Christchurch School since its inception to join. The report was adopted The balance-sheet was read and adopted. The treasurer. Mr W W Brough, made an appeal for the early payment of subscriptions in arrears The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Mr P. D. Waller- Dresb dent, Mr E. K. Phillips; vice-presidents, Messrs C. D. Sheppard and W. w’ Brough; honorary treasurer. Mr G. Craig: honorary secretary, Mr Uoyd Arnold: committee. Messrs L,. Bierg, B. R. Walker. A. P. Mahoney, G. Voller, L,. Densem. W. Hadley, H. M’Wliirter and G. Stokes. On the motion of Mr C. T>. Sheppard It was decided to write to the head master of the school, congratulating him on the high standard maintained in the recent examinations.
