Annual Picnic at Stewart’s Gully.
Perfect weather favoured the Hornby School annual picnic at Stewart’s Gully on Saturday. Some 400 parents and children made the trip by train, the day being spent in bathing and sports. A long programme of sports was put through in excellent style, the officials being Messrs Penney, J. Kempthorne, S. Borland and A. Maclaine, assisted by the teaching staff. Results:— Girls’ Events.
