DANCE AT PREBBLETON
Sports Club Arranges
Function
A successful dance was held in the Prebbleton Hall on Saturday evening under the auspices of the local Amateur Sports Club. Music for the dancing was supplied by Les. Kinsman s Band, and extras were played by Messrs C. Kinsman and li. Ilipango. Mr H. Prebble was M.C. A Monte Carlo dance was won by Miss \\ eir and Mr Stove, and in the card-room first prizes were won by Mr G. Walker and Mrs W. Hands and second prizes by Mr W. Kolkman and Mrs H. Prebble. Those present included:—Mr and Mrs G. Hancox, Mr and Mrs J. Smith, Mr and Mrs C. Hands. Mr and Mrs H. Goodwin, Mr and Mrs W. Kolkman, Mr and Mrs J. Easterbrook, Mr and Mrs G. Rutherford, Mr and Mrs J. Hartnell, Mr and ATrs W. Carpenter, Air and Airs H. Prebble; Mesdames Stanton and W. Hands: Misses Kathleen Tod, Rhona Tod. Violet Kolkman. Joyce Kolkman. Jean Warren. Margaret Barr, Weir, Barbara Jones, Alaida Cain, Elsie Gallagher, Afavis Smith. Bertha Hartnell, Rita Ringdale, Rita Kenworthy, Pat Gordon.
