PLUNKET SOCIETY’S PARTY.
The Linwood-Wools ton branch of the Plunket Society held a successful fancy dress children’s party recently to aid its funds. The party was held in the Linwood Methodist School Hall. Proceedings opened with the grand march, after which judging took place. Mrs Cracroft Wilson presented the prizes as follows:
Rav Bilton (Drummer), Shirley ATilnes (Rosebud). Doreen Aluir (Early Victorian). Beverley Reeve (Rosebud), Joan Basan (Karitane Products), Murray Chappie (Father Christmas) Trevor Smith (Mickey), Shirley Rushbridge (Madame Pompadour), Ivan Willy (Gandhi), Leo Sullivan (Tin Soldier). Iris Sheppard (Posy). May Cameron (Eastern Lady), Barry and Dolores l?, a !\ ert (Bride and Bridegroom). Shirley Eggelstone and Trevor Simth (Mick and Minnie).
