W.E.A. SUMMER SCHOOL.
The Workers’ Educational Association’s summer school, which is to be held at Methven from December 26 to January 3, promises to be a success The enrolments, it is stated, are coming in at a quicker rate than has been the case previously. Thirteen Dunedin students have already enrolled, and a further number are endeavouring to get leave to attend the school. Both the Dunedin and Christchurch branches are rehearsing plays for presentation at the school. Farmers of the Methven district will be invited to attend a lecture to be given by Mr G. H. Ilolford on agricultural problems. Mr L. F. de Berry will be the director of the school, which will be officially opened at 7 p.m. on Boxing Day.
