FUNERAL.

Late Mr A. G. Cannons. The funeral of the late Mr A. G. Cannons. formerly officer in charge of the Christchurch office of the Department of Industries and Commerce, took place yesterday afternoon, when representatives of the various organisations with ■which Mr Cannons was associated were present The cortege proceeded to the Bromley Cemetery where the Rev W. Rowe conducted the burial service. The chief mourners were Mrs A. G. Cannons and Peter Cannons (son) and Mr E. Cannons (brother). The pallbearers were: Messrs P R. Climie, E. FI. Marriner, R. H. Webb, C. B. \\ right, M. O’Brien and Major W. S. Furby. Those present included Messrs F. 11. Labatt (N.Z. Accountants and Auditors’ Association). E. S.
