FURTHER REMANDS.
Two Men Charged with Burglary. SELWYN STREET CASE. The two men who were arrested on a charge of breaking and entering the premises of the Selwyn Hosiery Company again appeared in the Police Court this morning and were remanded until December 18, on the application of Chief-Detective Dunlop. Robert James Mitchell, 28 years of age, a labourer, of Armagh Street, was charged that on December 6 he broke and entered the warehouse of the Selwyn Hosiery Company at 351, Selwyn Street, with intent to commit a crime. Mr Russell, appearing for the accused, asked for bail. He said that Mitchell was a married man with two children. Bail of £IOO, with one surety of £IOO, was granted, accused to report daily to the police. Leslie Pearce, a labourer, aged 30, of Armagh Street, who was not represented by counsel, was charged with breaking and entering the premises of Selwyn Hosiery on December 6 with intent to commit a crime.
