FAREWELL AT KIMBERLEY.
An enjoyable afternoon was spent at ” Glasnafeid,” the home of Mr and Mrs A. A. Stott, when the children attending the Kimberhey Sunday School, accompanied by their parents and friends, assembled to honour Miss Janie Reveley, whose marriage will take place shortly. The afternoon’s programme included competitions, games, musical items and community singing. Competitions were won by Misses B. Hopking, J. Revelry and R. Eaves. Songs were given by Mrs A. A. Stott and Mrs M. Houston, and pianoforte solos by Miss R. Eaves and Lex Masterton. Mrs G. Masterton, superintendent of the Sunday School, presented Miss Reveley with a clock and referred to h*er service as teacher during the past four years. Miss Reveley suitably replied. Afternoon tea was served on the lawn. Those present included Mesdames A. A. Stott, B. Reveley, W. H. Ede, M. Houston, W. Gamble, J. Thompson, G. Masterton, F. Herbert, C. Bilbrough, G. Gartery, H. Reveley, R. Duncan. J. Steele. E. Eaves, C. H. M’Causland, J. Beaman and J. R. Manson, Misses J. Reveley, S. M’Causland. R. Eaves, T. Priest. E. Reveley, A. M’Jarrbw, V. Dalzell and M. Odgers.
