BRITISH GOLFERS.
Visitors to Appear at Christchurch. DETAILS OF ITINERARY. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, November 6. The itinerary for the British golf team's visit to New Zealand has been submitted to a meeting of the New Zealand Golf Council. It provides for the team’s going straight down to Mount Cook for two days upon its arrival in New Zealand, thence to Dunedin, where the first match will be played on Saturday, December 15, and thence to Timaru, Christchurch and Wellington, arriving at Rotorua on December 24. The team will play a match at Rotorua on Boxing Day and then will travel to New Plymouth, via the Waitomo Caves. The golfers will play at New Plymouth, Wanganui and Manawatu, and will leave Palmerston North for Auckland on January 3, plaving a match against a New Zealand team at Auckland on Saturday an 1 Monday, January 5 and 7. The singles will be played on Saturday and the foursomes on Monday. t This programme is subject to the dates fitting in with the date of departure of the Englishmen, as to which the council has not yet been definite!'' advised.
