First Gipsy Newspaper.
" Neamul Ciganesc” (“Tzigane Nation ”) is the first Tzigane daily paper, and its appearance now marks out the Tziganes in Roumania, numbering one million souls, as an independent nationality. Dr Nicoliescu Plopsor, a professor in Crajova, who says he is gipsy origin himself, has completed a Tzigane grammar and published a collected crition of gipsy songs. His book of songs is the first book in the language, except for some grammars.
