FOUND DEAD IN BED.
(Special to the “ Star.”) TIMARU, November 6. A verdict that death was due to natural causes was returned by the Coroner’s-jury at the inquest at Fairlie into the death of James Henry Trerise. who was found dead in bed at his camp at Ben Ohau Station, Lake Pukr'-i. on Friday. Constable Mackintosh saiv. that Tresise, who was a married returned soldier, aged fifty-eight years, lived alone at the camp, which he had occupied only the previous day. He appeared to have died in his sleep. Dr J. R. Loughnan gave evidence that the heart was in a condition that was likely to cause death.
