A HITCH OCCURS.
I Australian and N.Z. Tennis Authorities Differ. , The New Zealand Tennis Association ! have inconvenienced the Australian authorities by arranging their programme from November 2 to 14, writes a Melbourne critic. Appearances of English women and men, who are on their way to play in Australia, are included in the fixture. The New Zealand Association has refused to allow the English girls, Misses Dorothy Round. Evelyn Dearman and Nancy Lyle, to leave the Dominion a few days earlier to be in time for an international women’s match on November 15. 16 and 17. As the New Zealand Association does not bear any of the expenses of the tour, the L.T.A.A. are considerably annoyed at their attitude. New South Wales has been very severely inconvenienced, and as this State has sent many teams to the Dominion in the x>ast. their attitude in the future might be considerably changed.
