DEBATING CLUB DANCE

Members Organise Combined Gathering.

The invitation of the combined Debating Clubs of the R.S.A., St Alary’s, A .AI.C.A., St Bede’s, Toe H, Alarist Brothers Old Boys and the W.E.A. public speaking class to thein second annual social and dance was accepted by a large number of their friends last evening. Aliss Af. Al’Lean was hostess for the dance, which was held in the Jellicoe Hall.

A representative committee had made complete arrangements, thus assuring a successful and enjoyable evening for their guests. The members were: Alessrs Smith (St Alary’s), Nel-

son (St Bede’s), W. J. Tessett (R.S.A.), Pye (Y.M.C.A.), Inkster (Toe II) and L. H. Warburton (W.E.A.). Alessrs L. F. Warburton and A. Blackburn shared the duties of masters of ceremonies.
