LONDON, July 18. 1 The Society of Motor Manufacturers reports that the record number of 220,775 motor-cars were produced in Britain in 1933 and that now there is one vehicle to every twenty-seven of the population. More than' 1,000,000 persons are employed in making and in the maintenance and operation of motor vehicles.
