BEEF SUBSIDY.
United Press Assn.—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, July IS. The “Daily Herald” says that the Beef Subsidy Bill is open to fraud because the Minister cannot ensure that it will not be paid twice on the same animals, once alive and once dead. The Minister, Mr W. E. Elliot, will discuss the whole question with trade representatives to-morrow.
